Welcome To Shed 16

You might be interested in the beautifully restored Kaukapakapa Hotel, now SHED16, located on State Highway 16 just outside the village. Our name reflects the common "shed" and our location.

Kaukapakapa has had a pub since 1865, with many stories to tell. SHED16 offers a classic pub menu with modern twists, monthly specials, cold beers, fine wines, and traditional service. We would love for you to visit.

Our venue includes the private Hawthorn Lounge, the outdoor Woodshed with a stage, the Distillery, and the Workshop with a big screen. Stop and let the kids blow out on the rural playground, even with its own tractor. Our 500m2 space has something for everyone.
